Christmas Islands Pinstriped Butterflyfish, Bonded Pair (Chaetodon trifasciatus)

Arguably one of the most beautiful & most difficult butterflies to get adapted to captivity in the world! With only a handful worldwide eating and thriving in captivity, this makes this pair incredibly special. Although they will nip at SPS corals, they are mainly after the slime. Reports of collectors with these butterflies in established reef systems say the damage towards acropopra is very minimal, while ignoring LPS, Softies, Inverts and clams.
